Prof. Hanaa Attia (National Research Centre) Egypt

Professor Hanaa Rasmy Mohamed Attia is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University (1985). She joined the National Research Centre (NRC) as an Assistant Researcher in the Nutrition Department, in addition of her original interest as Clinical Pathologist. She completed her MSc. degree in 1989 and MD degree in 1996 in the field of clinical and Chemical Pathology. She focused her research activities on immunological determinants of different diseases. She has more than 22 national and international publications in the fields of immunology, haematology and immunogenetics. As Principal investigator (PI), co-PI and team member, she participated in more than 10 projects granted by the NRC, Cairo, Egypt since 1989. Between 2003-08 she acted as Trainer of Clinical and Chemical Pathology for young graduate. In 2007 she was promoted as a Research Professor of Clinical and Chemical Pathology at the Clinical and Chemical pathology Department-NRC.
