Ain Shams University (Egypt) – Sustainable development and Egypt’s vision 2030…A workshop in the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University
The Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, hosted a free workshop entitled Sustainable Development and Egypt’s Vision 2030, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Hisham Mohsen Al-Hariri, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nabil Al-Madani, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Walaa Abdel Ghani, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, under the supervision and coordination of Prof. Dr. Lamia Radwan, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University.
The workshop dealt with introducing sustainable development goals, solving problems facing society, and working to find practical solutions to reach Egypt’s vision 2030. The lecture was attended by Dr. Mohamed Bassiouni, Assistant Professor of Land and Water Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Benha University, Dr. Karim Suleiman, Assistant Professor of Environmental Sciences and Toxicology, Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, in the presence of a number of faculty students, faculty staff and heads of departments, and the students of the Innovation Club IClub participated in the organization.
This comes in light of the keenness of the university administration, through the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, to conduct a free workshop to educate students about the goals of sustainable development and work on finding practical solutions to reach Egypt’s 2030 vision.
